  • Max: Its’ A Dog’s Life

Turns out that it can be a pretty good life if you are a dog, certainly helps if your ‘parents’ love you to bits too :D

Max’s shoot was postponed about 3 times due to a combination of unpredictable weather and the extremely busy schedules of his parents who only could make it at specific times. On the day where it finally cleared up a little for us to shoot at the Botanical Gardens, it decided to rain about 1 hour into it cutting our time there a little short. Moving back to his house was not a bad idea though as there were many interesting locations about the house.

This is quite an image intensive post so click on to see them all.

We started the day in the lush open fields of the Botanical Gardens with some cloud cover which soon progressed into a drizzle. Not before I got Max all nice and worked up for a few action shots.

A short break after all that action :)

On the drive back to hisĀ  territory he promptly zonked out and changed the CD track to “Home by Micheal Buble”. Might not be a co-incidence heh..

We then went up to his room. He has the most awesome ‘bed’ which was recycled from an old office chair I believe.

Not to mention tons of toys :)

If you remember the preview image here is one without the food.

Soon we moved on to the couch outside…he can be quite a goofball at times too..

    Finally sitting properly :D

I’m sure by now you can guess what is getting his attention off-camera.

Here he shows me all his tricks he uses to get his parents to feed him more treats. First up the high-10 (or 8)

Who wants a treat please raise a paw!

    High-four! Up high!

    Down low? Too slow! =p

To cool off after everything he decided to go for a swim.

    Shrinks in the wash

These next few shots meant more cleaning for me later but they were worth it :D

And finally to end it all a roll in the grass.. “Umm can I have some privacy please?”

Thanks Jaclyn for the wonderful session and braving the shower in Botanics :D Hope you all enjoyed the pictures as well!
