I managed to squeeze some time this weekend to head down to MuttsNMittens. There I got to know about Fergie. Fergie initially arrived with a dry flaky coat covered in scabs and as you can probably tell, not very happy. Under the care of the shelter staff, she has recovered well. They warned me she was a strong girl, and strong she was indeed. Her headbutts are not for the faint-hearted. She is extremely people affectionate but will need a firm and strong hand for obedience. Alas when I wanted to bring her out for a run, the heavens opened up and I had to shoot her in her kennel enclosure (which is quite big with an outdoor run area). I so want to go back next week to see if I can get some outdoor shots of this lovely girl!

Meeting him for the first time he looked like any happy, young and energetic shi tzu. I was right on two of those counts, turns out he was already 10. I seriously could not believe it from looking at how alert and sprightly he was. Let the pictures do the talking
