He was a little shy at first and wanted to hide in his little log.

Soon after though he started running around, trying to bury himself in the bedding..

We also did trying bribing him to keep still.. but he did not do so for long.

It was quite a challenge for his “dad” to pick him up given how hyper he was. I was also afraid he would suddenly scurry off given his reputation for escaping the night they forgot to close the cage properly.

Thankfully he did manage to keep still for 1/200 sec for a few moments

We then headed back to another place where it was thankfully drier and we could let him run free

This tongue hanging out thing was going to become a common theme =p

A quick chill by the pool side…

Then we ended up on the couch where he did protest at having to pose so much

Hope they managed to get all the fur off the couch in the end

First up we have Texas the chihuahua who has already found his new home (YAY!)

Next up is little Yuki who is still looking for her forever home.  This was taken when she was about 5 weeks old, she should now be almost 2 months ! Also not forgetting Nereus seen here patiently waiting for his mommy..

We began by taking a walk to the nearby park.Where even then you can see how attached she was..

Of course being 12, she did not have much stamina so we soon sat down to take a breather..

When you get this old (84 in dog years) a few grey hairs are the norm

Still, you would be hard-pressed to tell her age given how well she looks!

Back home, she was a little grouchy at having me over but soon warmed up again..and who can resist that smile?

Half-way we decided to break out the secret weapon… Cheese!

Towards the end of the shoot, she would settle down in her fav spot and just watch the world go by..

Like all labs, he was a bundle of energy so we decided to burn some of it off in the nearby park.

We then took more stationary shots..

We then went back home where he had a raw hide treat just because I was there You owe me one Charlie.

Soon it was playtime again with Dad and his fav bun.

He also got a few belly rubs thrown in for free too!

He did have a few more tricks up his paw though..

We let him nap a bit before the next task…

Which involved some more running.. His dad told me about how he loved to launch himself after that bun of his and I wanted to get him at it.

No denying that he is a handsome fella

While taking this series of family shots, there was a moment shared between them that was totally candid and in my opinion, shows the depth of their bond.

Here is the photo that got her adopted on the left with how she looks like now. Quite a difference eh? Mongrel puppies can be deceiving ahha

She has such long and pretty legs. Lynn mentioned that she did look mighty awkward during her teenage years..

No doubt though that she has blossomed into a very pretty mongrel.

She is the playful sort and I spent quite a bit of time chasing her round and round the dining table..but soon she did get in itch on her nose. After a quick scratch it was back to the chasing game..

Once tired she had loads of fun rolling round the cool marble floor

Next up is little Libby who has been with Lynn for the longest time She was more reserved but still posed nicely when asked..

No doubt she is full of youthful energy!

Still obdient enough to sit still when called for though…

No doubt though that she is a pretty one

Close up, you can see that little twinkle of mischief in her eyes…

A full morning of running around did leave her pooped out though and once we got back she knocked out pretty quickly

Russell demonstrates the correct launching technique. As the pool sides are slippery, he uses his hind paw to push off the wall

He does look kinda awkward in flight though..

Leo, on the other paw, has a much better form

It was quite fun watching him climb out the opposite side…

It is quite well known that water and camera’s do not really mix well but thanks Camera Rental Centre who lent me the underwater case and waterproof video camera, it seems they CAN mix quite well! I think I’ll let these shots speak for themselves..

After this pool session, rest assured I will definitely be looking forward to future shoot involving dogs and water. Oh and you you remember I mentioned about the video camera?

First up some of the Older kitties, playful Echo  the tortie and manja Winky the b/w kitten.

Next batch comes from a rescue of some kitties from French Road, now known as the Frenchies. They are still a little bit sick but have been recovering well lately.

There are two ginger boys, Jaimie (left) and Marcel (right)

And their sister Chanel

She is the playful sort too..

Next up we have three kittens from the “Whities Group”. First one being Princess who likes to play but on on her terms. She also has the roundest eyes of the batch

Next up is the very hyper Ellis

She can entertain herself for long periods with a simple little jingle toy

And enjoys a little rough housing with her brother Aryan..

Aryan, is a very handsome cat and he knows how to work the camera..

He can look like a goof-ball while playing though and can be quite a handful.

But its hard to say no to such a face eh?

Not the very subtle sorta chap..

One of the fav toys is this squeaky doggy toy that kinda looks like a severd bunny head. And once he gets excited he will give you that excited face…

Once he calms down though he is quite a poser..

 
Sometimes he needs a little help..

Most of the time though, he is a natural!

  Seriously, he just has that “royal cat” look down pat..
