Last weekend I went down to Mutts N Mittens and met this wonderfully manja ginger cat. He seems like the kind that would like to disturb you for a belly rub while you were reading a book or sit on your keyboard 
The best part is that he has already gone to his forever home! Here are some pics taken while I was there to photograph Fergie
He had this thing for my R-Strap as well
And I hope his new parents get him a good scratching post…
I managed to squeeze some time this weekend to head down to MuttsNMittens. There I got to know about Fergie. Fergie initially arrived with a dry flaky coat covered in scabs and as you can probably tell, not very happy. Under the care of the shelter staff, she has recovered well. They warned me she was a strong girl, and strong she was indeed. Her headbutts are not for the faint-hearted. She is extremely people affectionate but will need a firm and strong hand for obedience. Alas when I wanted to bring her out for a run, the heavens opened up and I had to shoot her in her kennel enclosure (which is quite big with an outdoor run area). I so want to go back next week to see if I can get some outdoor shots of this lovely girl!

*pant pant pant* … if you guessed that as the sound of the 3 super excited border collie pups you’d be WRONG. That’s me dead tired after the shoot! I had the chance to meet them before when they were much smaller and my have they grown in such a short time. This time though we went out to hort park where there was alot more space for them to stretch those growing legs. Those 3 BC pups don’t ever seem to run out of steam EVER and I had a tough time keeping up with them (as did their moms )
I’d like to give a shoutout to their moms for being good sports as it started to rain half way though the shoot. So 3 dogs and 3 people proceeded to crop into a 5mx5m shelter where I tried to get a few more shots of them while they were waiting the rain out 
With 3 active dogs you can correctly assume this took quite a few tries and lots of treats. Left to right: Phoenix, Aries and Yogi

Being siblings they also loved to run with each other!
