Sengkang Riverside: Schuyler

I first met Schuyler (said Sky-ler) at his birthday party two years back. His mom decided that this year his big present would be to get a portrait session done! While he was not quite interested in either food or his toys he was fond of his mom which was quite enough

We decided to start out the shoot with some high energy shots to burn off his excess energy. This led to interesting expressions

I must admit we did have one small scare once though but thank goodness for long leashes

Once he was calm though he was a natural..

And one of my favs from the session..

Ebi Emma and Pudding

The weather was not kind to Ebi, Emma and Pudding. During the first session, it rained me out half way through What made it worse was when the follow up shoot was scheduled for the next morning, it decided to pour as well :\ Thankfully the weather took a turn for the better last week and we ended up having a great time!

One of the rare times they kept still together

They loved to keep walking and exploring!

Ebi and Emma are like brother and sister with Ebi being older than Emma

When you break out the treats though those two get motivated to run

Even after all that they still had the energy to pose nicely for some portrait shots

And of course not forgetting little Pudding who has the most adorable head-tilt and wink!

Aries Phoenix and Yogi

*pant pant pant* … if you guessed that as the sound of the 3 super excited border collie pups you’d be WRONG. That’s me dead tired after the shoot! I had the chance to meet them before when they were much smaller and my have they grown in such a short time. This time though we went out to hort park where there was alot more space for them to stretch those growing legs. Those 3 BC pups don’t ever seem to run out of steam EVER and I had a tough time keeping up with them (as did their moms )

I’d like to give a shoutout to their moms for being good sports as it started to rain half way though the shoot. So 3 dogs and 3 people proceeded to crop into a 5mx5m shelter where I tried to get a few more shots of them while they were waiting the rain out

With 3 active dogs you can correctly assume this took quite a few tries and lots of treats. Left to right: Phoenix, Aries and Yogi

Border collies just LOVE to run…

Being siblings they also loved to run with each other!

And of course being siblings they will also irritate the heck out of each other Here we have Aries getting annoyed with Phoenix

And Yogi about to stick her nose in an argument at high speed

Ahh first portrait session of 2010! I had a chance to do a portrait session for a friend whose sister had a 17 year old Pomeranian. While she was a little wobbly and looked very lost most of the time she definitely still knew how to charm (Click to enlarge small pics)

Sydney her younger companion tagged along too but she was a little miffed that all the attention was not on her… still she dod cooperate quite well..

And of coruse the bond between Whiskey and her owner was very apparent..
