First up we have Texas the chihuahua who has already found his new home (YAY!)

Next up is little Yuki who is still looking for her forever home.  This was taken when she was about 5 weeks old, she should now be almost 2 months ! As you can see, poor yellow had not much peace during this session.

He will definitely need quite a bit for supervision in his new home..

His alertness and curiosity are just too cute.

We began by taking a walk to the nearby park.Where even then you can see how attached she was..

Of course being 12, she did not have much stamina so we soon sat down to take a breather..

When you get this old (84 in dog years) a few grey hairs are the norm

Still, you would be hard-pressed to tell her age given how well she looks!

Back home, she was a little grouchy at having me over but soon warmed up again..and who can resist that smile?

Half-way we decided to break out the secret weapon… Cheese!

Towards the end of the shoot, she would settle down in her fav spot and just watch the world go by..

Here is the photo that got her adopted on the left with how she looks like now. Quite a difference eh? Mongrel puppies can be deceiving ahha

She has such long and pretty legs. Lynn mentioned that she did look mighty awkward during her teenage years..

No doubt though that she has blossomed into a very pretty mongrel.

She is the playful sort and I spent quite a bit of time chasing her round and round the dining table..but soon she did get in itch on her nose. After a quick scratch it was back to the chasing game..

Once tired she had loads of fun rolling round the cool marble floor

Next up is little Libby who has been with Lynn for the longest time She was more reserved but still posed nicely when asked..

Russell demonstrates the correct launching technique. As the pool sides are slippery, he uses his hind paw to push off the wall

He does look kinda awkward in flight though..

Leo, on the other paw, has a much better form

Although his entry is kinda awkward as well

It was quite fun watching him climb out the opposite side…

It is quite well known that water and camera’s do not really mix well but thanks Camera Rental Centre who lent me the underwater case and waterproof video camera, it seems they CAN mix quite well! I think I’ll let these shots speak for themselves..

After this pool session, rest assured I will definitely be looking forward to future shoot involving dogs and water. Oh and you you remember I mentioned about the video camera?

First up is Marche a Maltese, who is still in quarantine. A little timid still given how much her environment has changed but still likes human company. She does have a skin condition but it should get better in time

  Next is Coco who is still also wary of strangers but warmed up soon enough

Had a little help from Cohen, the head honcho Coco loves belly rubs!

That last bit proved quite useful during the shoot as his “Mom” told me he would much prefer to laze around the beach if there was no food involved. True enough we started with some stationary shots to get him warmed up..

He does look quite dashing in that hat though he has other thoughts about that…

Then to perk him up, it was time to break out the cheese

Even got him to run a little

Once he took to the sea though he was quite different.. he did shrink by about 50%

He also liked chaing his little lamb around, but after one failed attempt to grab it, he ended up with a mouthful of sand and quickly lost interest..

We ended off with  a large family photo of Bobby and his friends

Congrats again on winning the contest

M did a great job of giving them a good home with Charlie so active and Jasper with his generous proportions

  Jasper was slightly more timid but warmed up with some ham (they love it!) and toys.

I did catch him in a  few un-glamorous poses but we all had a laugh

  No denying he is a handsome boy though

My main objective though was to meet Tea now known as Charlie. Not only was he active even with a broken limb, he has even regained some use of it! Unless you looked closely you would not be able to tell he was even injured given how active he is.

You can only tell that there is something up with his leg by the way he sits but otherwise he is an active and playful kitty!  I spent plenty of time playing with him, making him run around till he got tired.

  And yes he did eventually end up sleeping

It has been a pleasure to see how well Charlie has grown and how much happier he is now living with M. Thanks again for giving him and Jasper a home and hope their antics don’t break too much of your stuff!

Most of the cats are free-roaming such as this contemplative black kitty.

While others watch you like prey from the grass..

Some will prefer to do what all cats universally like to do..

Some cats rally knew how to pose. Here we have a modelling couple and a solo star

They also have a cattery where the cats not too well adapted to outside life or have special needs can stay.

With the volunteers, there is always plenty of love to go around!
