    Woof Wednesday: Snooki

    Wednesday, June 13th, 2012

I first met Snooki back when she was at the shelter where she was abandoned by her previous owners due to her bad skin condition. Her new family loves her to bits though and she has grown into become indispensable part of their lives. Its obvious just how much she has changed since I last saw her..

Being food motivated she was also keen to share some new tricks learned..

Short break for a tummy rub!

Then back to more posing to show off all that fur :D

Being able to capture the bond between pet and “pawrent” is one of the many reasons why I love photographing pets. Its always very clear just how much love there is in such a relationship

Congrats Snooki on finding your happy forever home :)

    An English Gentledog: Alfie

    Sunday, May 29th, 2011

I’m proud to announce my first overseas portrait session! While on vacation in the UK, I was staying at this cosy little Bed and Breakfast called Eskdale. The rooms were cosy, breakfast hearty and to top it of, our host Debbie was warm and genuinely friendly :D To top it all off when I awoke the next morning I saw that there was also one dog and cat in residence. It was not until the third day there till I had the chance to do a quick portrait session in her back garden. Granted that this was more impromptu than planned, it went well thanks to a very cooperative subject (and McVities Digestives). Meet Alfie the Labrador.

And like most lads in the UK he does enjoy soccer/football.

And what’s that nonsense about stiff upper lips?

No matter the expression there is no denying he is one dashing fellow (less the drool of course :) )

Once again a big thanks to Debbie, Alfie and the cat for making my stay at Eskdale a memorable one!

    Meow Monday: Lucky

    Monday, December 20th, 2010

Lucky is quite a shy boy, rescued from a place where he had to fight for food and attention. He is now under the care of the kind folks over at Mutts N Mittens.

Given his previous home it was not surpising that he was wary of people and sought the safety of a near by cage..

Curiosity soon got the better of him though and the temptation of some sayangs..

    *EDIT* Lucky has been adopted!
