    Aries Phoenix and Yogi

    Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

*pant pant pant* … if you guessed that as the sound of the 3 super excited border collie pups you’d be WRONG. That’s me dead tired after the shoot! I had the chance to meet them before when they were much smaller and my have they grown in such a short time. This time though we went out to hort park where there was alot more space for them to stretch those  growing legs. Those 3 BC pups don’t ever seem to run out of steam EVER and I had a tough time keeping up with them (as did their moms :D )

I’d like to give a shoutout to their moms for being good sports as it started to rain half way though the shoot. So 3 dogs and 3 people proceeded to crop into a 5mx5m shelter where I tried to get a few more shots of them while they were waiting the rain out :)

With 3 active dogs you can correctly assume this took quite a few tries and lots of treats. Left to right: Phoenix, Aries and Yogi

Border collies just LOVE to run…

Being siblings they also loved to run with each other!

And of course being siblings they will also irritate the heck out of each other ;) Here we have Aries getting annoyed with Phoenix

And Yogi about to stick her nose in an argument at high speed

Here we can see yogi developing that classic collie stare..

Yogi and Aries having fun with a stuffed squrriel

And to end it a few choice portraits of the three :)

    KL trip – Xiao Bai

    Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

I took a short trip up to KL recently with the gf for an eating extravaganza :D Of course I couldn’t neglect my camera and actively looked for some furry subjects (food is nicer to eat than photograph IMO)

I met Xiao bai who was this wonderfully energetic mongrel :D

Then there was this lonely mongrel in a car.. (don’t worry weather was cool and overcast..)

And for something non-furry… This was the sunset just before i boarded the plane home..

And one more shot out of the plane window.

Will try to be back with your regular blog posts soon!

    A dog named Monkey

    Monday, March 8th, 2010

A dog called Monkey? Yeap you hear it right.  Monkey is a old rescued stray that has been with her family for about 9 years now! While she is still wary of strangers she is super manja (affectionate for all you non local readers) to her ‘mom’. I managed to take some quick snaps of her before her family had to leave.

OK maybe she does look like a monkey squatting if you look kard enough…

Still you cant deny that she is 100% dog :D

    My personal fav :)
