    Toby and Sasha

    Saturday, May 26th, 2012

The shoot for the two furkids of The Barkery SG was supposed to take place at the botanical gardens but due to the foreboding clouds and sound of thunder, we decided to move eastwards to Katong dog run.

Toby was your typical friendly and outgoing GR who tends to follow his stomach and nose.

He did also try to show me his little horse impression :)

Always has a happy face to show. So long as you have the treats ;)

Hard to decide of he is handsome or cute.

Sasha was slightly shier at first, but warmed up quite fast.

    Enjoying a belly rub

If you ever wondered why that yoga pose is called downward-facing dog, here is the perfect example:

    She also loves to run!

One she did stay still though, she posed like a pro.

What both of them do love to do at the run though is chase each other. It’s quite one-sided though with Sasha doing most of the pursuing and initiation of play. I guess Toby would rather laze around till he gets his treats :D

    Tag! You’re it!

Sometimes she does get too excitable…

It was a fun session with lots of high energy action which Sasha seemed to have plenty of. It all translated into some pretty interesting moments to capture. Hope you enjoyed the pictures :)

    Furry Friday: Mambo

    Friday, May 18th, 2012

This furry Friday, we are proud to feature a furry subject we don’t get to shoot very often. Introducing the mischievous little Mambo!

He was a little shy at first and wanted to hide in his little log.

Soon after though he started running around, trying to bury himself in the bedding..

We also did trying bribing him to keep still.. but he did not do so for long.

It was quite a challenge for his “dad” to pick him up given how hyper he was. I was also afraid he would suddenly scurry off given his reputation for escaping the night they forgot to close the cage properly.

Thankfully he did manage to keep still for 1/200 sec for a few moments :)

    Retired K9: Booley

    Friday, May 4th, 2012

Meet Booley the retired K9 Belgian Malinois. A very play motivated chap, he absolutely loves tennis balls. Still a little high-strung due to his recent retirement, he is slowly learning to relax and just be a dog.

    Here’s wishing him a happy retirement :D
