    Sundog: Ellie, Hito, Chimmi

    Meet the feisty trio of Ellie, Hito and Chimmi whom I had the pleasure of photographing one warm and thankfully dry Saturday morning.

    Chimmi has a little “Forever Alone” moment here. Not like he really bothers though.

    Chimmi is perfectly happy to be on his own!

      He is unable to keep that tongue and is more than willing to show it off along with a few tricks.

     

    Definitely a Mummy’s boy :D

    Next up is  Hito..

     

    Who has some interesting facial expressions.

      Then the dashing (in his own opinion) Ellie

      Seems though that both Ellie and Hito also have secret powers of flight..

     

    Though Hito seems to be better at it ;)

    Senior Portrait: Wawa

    I got to know Wawa’s mom because she was the rescuer of Prince Yukio (and because Yukio’s new mom helped to convince her ) Senior dog portraits are always special because senior dogs tend to exude this knowing and sagely charm that you just cannot capture with hyperactive puppies.

    We began by taking a walk to the nearby park.Where even then you can see how attached she was..

    Of course being 12, she did not have much stamina so we soon sat down to take a breather..

     

    When you get this old (84 in dog years) a few grey hairs are the norm

    Still, you would be hard-pressed to tell her age given how well she looks!

    Back home, she was a little grouchy at having me over but soon warmed up again..and who can resist that smile?

     

    Half-way we decided to break out the secret weapon… Cheese!

     

    Towards the end of the shoot, she would settle down in her fav spot and just watch the world go by..

    MnM Adoptables: Miracle, Nickhun, Cathy and some kittens!

    While its great that Tea and Biscuit have recently been adopted, the shelter has has quite a few more animal come in recently. Here are some of them that I manged to photograph over the weekend. You can find out more about how you can adopt any of these dogs/cats over at their facebook page

    First up is Cathy, the pic on the left was taken about 3 weeks ago. You can see her getting much better under their care! More pics by Project JK

    We have Nickhun a handsome chihuahua :)

    Miracle the Pomeranian (Adopted!)

    This lovely girl that is part of a family of 5 kittens rescued recently. Two of thier siblings have since been adopted :)

    She has such a pretty face with that ginger/tabby cross :)

    This poor boy was brought in very recently seems to have a bad eye infection. He will be going to the vet tomorrow to see exactly what is causing it. He does have quite badly impaired vision but is still quite curious and friendly once he warms up :) (Adopted together with Tea! )
