    Prince and Coco’s Pawty

    Sunday, October 31st, 2010

I was invited to Prince and Coco’s Pawty about 2 weeks ago and got to spend a lovely relaxing afternoon with Jazz, her pack and lots of other dogs! having about 15 shelties in a single location can certainly be quite a mess but given how they are all obedience trained it was not so bad. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

The full set of pictures can be found at over at this gallery.

    Pepper Pongo and Perdi

    Sunday, May 16th, 2010

One of my rare morning shoots where my client Eva, was more than happy to wake up bright and early for an 8am shoot. Things got delayed a little due to a little location mis-communication, resulting in her taking a round trip to meet me.

When we finally met, I got to meet the three little poofy ones (hehe) but things got a little more dangerous. While we were walking towards our intended shoot site, a stray dog started trotting towards us. Fearing for the dog’s safety, we quickly walked away towards another location. Not five minutes later I spotted him still following us. It was then we decided to climb into her car and head off to the other end of the park where she was originally waiting.

I was glad for that little detour as although we did lose some of the glorious morning light, she has shown me a brilliant location for a morning shoot. A large field with a grassy hill overlooking a lake, makes for an awesome location especially since the morning light streams in from over the lake. But quite enough of that I’m sure you are here to see the shelties :)

Left to right Pongo, little Perdi and and Matriarch Pepper

We started out with some higher energy shots of them running and playing. Here is an instance of why you should look where you are running.. ouch?

Pongo and Perdi had an awesome time chasing their mom around :)

Pepper dosent really like to run around much and preferred to wander off to do her own thing. Here Perdi tries to instigate a chase, which failed…

Pepper really has a mind of her own when out there. Here you can see her ‘herding’ her lost flock ;)

Portraits of Pongo and Perdi (wayy too many P’s in this post)

And of course the Matriarch, Pepper, gets the most attention. She just loved walking up and down the shoreline..

I loved the way her profile looked as she was looking across the lake..

And one last shot of the lovely independent girl :)

    Romeo and Juliet

    Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

Not quite the love affair you would have predicted here. This party was for Romeo celebrating his second human year of life and for Juliet’s homecoming! While Romeo took an instant liking to the very young Juliet, she was not the shy demure kind and I think he learned that she was not to be taken advantage of ;)

On the left we have romeo.. and on the right… Juliet!

    I so love this sign.

Given its a dog party theres bound to be lots of sniffing and greeting.

While there was no music some guests still danced..

And the food smelled AWESOME.. quite so to this fella :)

    And a few quick portraits..

Juliet getting TLC from her mom

And we end with her beautiful profile :D
