ACRES also rescued some puppies.. they were adorable but kinda impossible to take a decent shot as I was not allowed to bring them out of the isolation kennels yet.

A second later Yellow was none too happy from the rude awakening.. still that pup needs a good lesson on letting sleeping dogs lie…
Later he resigned to his chew toy for comfort after yelow decided to leave him alone…

Ginger kittens at Mutts N Mittens
Saturday, January 17th, 2009I had a quick pop by MuttsNMittens after learning that there were some new kittens up for adoption. As I only spent a short time there I only manged to capture 2 of them. Still I think its more than enough cuteness for one day.

Well if you are wondering how to get kittens to pose on command I will share a small tip. Its called a rubber band
I had help from a good friend to play with the kittens using said rubber band. The hard part was getting the timing right because they have a really short attention span and wont sit still for long.
Alllmost got it. I know some of you cant resist fat kitten bellies =p
