I was helping out at a flea market where the beneficiary was the Cat Welfare Society (CWS). Besides the many clothes and knick-knacks on sale, CWS had a booth where they had some cats up for adoption. The pet photographer in me could not resist snapping up these cuties

Last weekend I was at the shelter helping to photograph some of the many cats that they have up for adoption. (Massive amount of pics)
First up is the sweet manja Charlie
Who always gets bullied by Crissy..
And then there were 4 very playful and feisty kittens. Ginger boy and Prince the two boys
And the two girls Lady(Top) and Dutchess (Bottom) I love their unique ginger/torie coat mixes
Sharing mealtime They normally would be chasing each other down =p
And of course being kittens they LOVE to play!

Its all fun and games until…
somebody loses a… well lucky Lady didnt have any delicates..
But its hard to stay mad at this face
Prince and Dutchess played a little nicer together at first..
But somehow it always ends with the girls bullying the boys..

And after all that play its time to nap.

I spent the last weekend photographing my friend’s 2 growing dustballs. They are nearing their full adult size soon but still have their kittenish playfulness about them.
One rare occasion where I could get both of them together, quietly…
A quick lesson in perspective courtesy of Faye.. 24 mm vs 85mm; notice how the wide angle exaggerates the nose-to-ear distance. 
While it works well for animal portraits, humans might be a bit touchier when they look ‘weirder’.

Dorian always seems to have this evil, plotting face that makes you think he is planning to kill you at some point…
I wonder how my friend sleeps at night…
But truth be told, he is still a big softie.
And while Faye is not the most glamorous of ladies…
She is undoubtedly still irresistibly cute.
