    Not to be confused with the other famous blogging doggy at kingsleydog.com ;) I met him while he was out in the run having a little game of fetch.

    Border collies + action are just too hard to resist for a photo op.

    Tried to grab some jump shots but it all ended up like

    When the time came for him to get back to the kennel he just lay there out in the field waiting for the ball to be thrown again!

    Running and border collies really seem to go well together. This is also my fav shot from that short session.

    MuttsNMittens – Master Chow

    Its been quite awhile since I had the time to head down over to MuttsNMittens to help photograph some adoptable. I decided to have a session with the very furry Master Chow. He was much neglected as a breeding dog and was subsequently rescued with his mom (who has since found a new home!) He is still pretty shy around people(especially males)  still which is not surprising given how much he was abused. Its amazing how much better he is now thanks to the efforts and care of the shelter staff and volunteers.  When he arrived he was malnourished and had almost no fur on him, but now…

    He definitely recovered well and saved from that awful breeder, live life as a dog should :D

    Of course the trademark of a chow is thier purple tongue!

    A happy new year to one and all! Hope you all enjoyed yourselves over this long weekend. I certainly spent most of it catching up on rest, eating lots of great food with friends and family and finally having more time to do more shooting. Went down to Mutts N Mittens again :)

    Holly a boarding resident that hung around the reception area. He decided to retire after a few treats.

    Then I also met Missy who is now very happy wither her new parents :D

    Out behind there was Nereus garding the table.

    I also met Cookie who is looking for his forever home! If you think you can commit the time and love or know somone who can do drop by the shelter to find out more :)
